A Sponsored walk from Swansea to Caernarfon to support the Wales Air Ambulance’s ‘Leap Into Action’ appeal.
Rhys and the team will be walking 200 miles in aid of the Wales Air Ambulance, and we need you to get involved! Along the way, we have sections of the walk that you can join in on, as well as a great selection of entertainment every night!
The 200 mile walk will be completed over eight days. The project will be launched with a gala dinner at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea on Thursday, August 16th, and the walk will commence at Swansea Airport at 8am on Friday August the 17th. The route will take us up the Neath Valley, Storey Arms, Brecon, Builth, Newtown and Welshpool Airport. From there we will travel via Dinas Mawddwy, Dolgellau, Porthmadog and finishing in Caernarfon Airport.
The walk will have eight overnight stops at some of Wales’ most iconic hotels and there will be entertainment and fundraising activities at each evening stop. We will be joined by some of Wales’s top musical acts and some international stars too.
