We would like to make all of our guests aware that if you have seen the article in the Daily Mail regarding the Pheasant shooting at Maesmawr Hall please note this is NOT at our establishment. The Maesmawr Hall mentioned in this article is based near Bettws Hall over 10 miles away. Bettws Hall is a residential shooting venue that breeds the birds on site and we DO NOT have any of these facilities at our Hotel. We are a privately owned Hotel and are not associated with any partners, groups or chains. We do not run or support any sports or activities from the Hotel we simply provide accommodation and restaurant facilities.
Our Wedding Fayre is FREE to attend and you DO NOT need to book in advance. You DO NOT have to have booked us as your venue and you are under no obligation to book Maesmawr as your venue because you have attended the event.
It is simply a day for you to meet and greet the local wedding suppliers, perhaps sample their goods and to get more information regarding packages, prices and availability from them. There is also …an opportunity for you to view Maesmawr and discuss your requirements with our wedding coordinators.
If you have already secured a venue then we wish you the very best for your big day and we hope that our wedding fayre is useful in helping you to find and secure other providers for your wedding.

This year’s Autumn Wedding Fayre is on Sunday 27th September. Confirmed exhibitors include, Wedding Belles, Splash Photographic, K & H Photography, Jan Phillips Florist, Rocksalt Photography, Ann Lewis Videos, The Cutting Room, PVP systems television, Evolution Roadshow and Cameo Creative Wedding Stationary. With more exhibitors booking each day we will be hosting over 20 companies from all areas of the wedding trade.
We have been nominated for the Welsh National Wedding Awards in 2 categories and now in order to get shortlisted to the next stage require as many votes as possible.
We have been nominated for Category 4: BEST VENUE and Category 21: BEST VENUE BASED WEDDING CO ORDINATOR. We have been told in order for votes to be counted that the email address: email@example.com must be entered.
Also that we are not just judged on votes if we get shortlisted but also the feedback entered as to why you are voting is very important.
We are asking if Brides and Grooms would spare a few minutes to vote for us and also ask Mums, Dads, Bridesmaids, Best Men & Ushers to cast a vote too! If you could share the information via facebook, twitter etc this should enable more people to see what we are doing.
